Welcome!

In our office, we believe that learning occurs best in a safe, healthy, and supportive campus community that values diversity; promotes and expects responsibility; fosters leadership and an active participation in campus life.  The Enrollment Management and Student Services Staff views education as a total process; a fusion between the academic and non-academic lives of our students.  Our purpose is to support and facilitate the university's efforts to be student-centered, promote student success in curricular and co-curricular education founded in the liberal arts, and to support global citizenship and understanding.

Our Staff in Enrollment Management and Student Services is always available to assist you. Come by the Owens Student Center or give us a call, 770-534-6130, at any time.

BARNES & NOBLE TO MANAGE BRENAU BOOKSTORE

Starting April 15, 2008, Brenau University has entered into a contract with barnes & Noble to manage the University Bookstore on Brenau's Gainesville campus.  This will provide broader service to the university's remote campuses and online studies.  The company will manage the existing bookstore in Owens Student Center for the balance of the spring term, but will move to Feldman House in time for the fall term.  The company also owns some operations of MBS Textbook Exchange, which deals exclusively with used textbooks.

BLUE LIGHTS and EMERGENCY CALL BOXES

Blue lights have been added to the emergency call boxes around campus.  Additionally, new call boxes with blue lights have been added to various locations.  The blue lighted call boxes are located on the back of Owens, near the door going into the Post Office area; on the front of the library; near the main entrance of Jacobs; and on the front of the Burd Center.  Additional call boxes have been added to the History Center parking lot; the new parking lot next to the library; at the tennis courts; and the front of the Featherbone Building.

In order to operate the call boxes, the call button needs to be pushed.  These boxes are connected to an emergency operator who will dispatch local emergency services, as well as mobilize campus security officers to the box's location.
