 Renee Agner, is the Dean of Student Success and Retention
Renée is responsible for student retention; is an advocate for the students; and is a liaison with faculty. She works with students on a daily basis helping them adjust to college life and intervening when students find themselves struggling with the goal of the students reaching academic success.

 Lorene Pharr, is the Special Assistant to the Senior VP for Student Services & Director of International Students & Global Studies.
Lorene's responsibilities include advising and assisting international students, coordinating faculty study abroad programs and assisting students looking for study abroad placements. She also assists the Vice President in his day to day operations of Brenau's Student Services.

 Valerie Simmons-Walston, is the Dean of Student Life
Valerie is responsible for selecting, training and supervising the Resident Assistants in areas of community development, stress management, time management, cultural diversity and general university resources. She promotes leadership opportunities, facilitates programming events, and serves as a liaison between the Resident Assistants and the Director of Residence Life.

 George Bagel, is the Director of Career Services.
George provides career advising for students and alumni, organizes career fairs, coordinates student employment, and presents career-related workships to classes and student organizations. He has over twenty years of career development experience including career counseling in higher education, outplacement consulting and technical recruiting.

 Reverend Donald Harrison, Brenau University Chaplain.
Reverand Harrison brings with him a wealth of knowledge and understanding of religious faith. In addition to working in the ministry on a full time basis, Reverend Harrison served in the U.S. Public Health Service as a senior administrator and has held faculty appointments at several universities, teaching religion courses as well as history, political science, public administration, philosophy and Western civilization. He oversees the Servant Leadership Program and Brenau Spiritual Life Association.

 Debbie Thompson, Director, Center for Greek Life and Campus Traditions
She is responsible for coordinating campus events such as R.A.T.T. Week, Family Weekend, Miss Brenau, Spade Hunt, Class Day and May Day. Debbie also coordinates the resources and advising for the 8 national Greek organizations and serves as the adviser for the 3 Greek honor societies and the governing councils within the Greek community. She received the Brenau Adviser of the Year award in 2004 for her work with the Student Alumnae Council. Debbie also maintains the University's Master Calendar.

Janie is responsible for the daily operations of the Student Health Center. She is instrumental in providing oncampus patient education programs to our students, as well as making sure that each student is up-to-date regarding health forms and immunizations.

University Counselor
Tara joined the Student Services Staff at Brenau, and is a member of the Counseling Staff. She provides individual and group counseling, helps to develop campus wellness programs, and conducts outreach to campus organizations.
