"Since joining the Brenau University staff in February of 1995 I've seen many changes, but one thing remains constant - Brenau is a caring "family" that puts students first. Brenau's 2025 Vision is exciting and I'm so proud to be here to help in any way I can." (Executive Assistant; employed 18 years)
“My favorite thing about working at Brenau is that I feel as if I am part of a family, the Brenau family. I also enjoy being able to attend the various activities that take place on campus such as the art exhibits, plays, and Brenau BBQ. Brenau also provides fun things for their employees such as the Halloween Costume contest and the Health Fair, it is nice to have those types of things to enjoy.” (Coor. for Student Services Operations; employed 5 years)
"As a Brenau employee for over ten years, I am thankful for the opportunities Brenau has afforded me - opportunities to advance in both my education and my career, as well as the opportunity to help students achieve their educational goals. I believe in the power of a great education, and I believe in Brenau!" (Director; employed 10 years)
"It has been my pleasure to have started work and carved my name in concrete (those who walk/run the Brenau mile probably know where). During my time here I have witnessed and been a part of numerous changes. Those changes have included the demolition of old buildings and the construction of new buildings, the retirement of Presidents, academic and course changes as well as departmental restructuring, and sadly the deaths of beloved friends faculty/staff and then the rejoicing with others over the new life and additions to their families. Throughout all of this I have been amazed and astounded by the continued drive and support of the Brenau Community towards the goal of providing a superior experience and education for the students as well as faculty and staff who pass through her doors. It is through the dedication, drive, and planning, of not only our predecessors and prior Administration but also ourselves and our current Administration, that Brenau has been providing and expecting standards of excellence for the last 135 years, with all expectations of another 135+ to go. I am proud to say that I have received my B.S. from Brenau, and am now using that knowledge base and skills to help further the sustainability and success of the university that I have chosen to make my home. To those of you here (staff, students, faculty) I will see you around. To those of you thinking of joining our community... I hope to see you here, we will laugh, we will cry, we will talk, we will listen, we will work, we will play, but above all else we will have an experience that we can be proud of..." (Facilities Coordinator; employed 15 years).
