Study Abroad at Brenau

As a Brenau student you have many great opportunities to study abroad. Read below for information on the types of opportunities you have. The Office of International Students & Programs is happy to assist you with choosing the program that is best for you.
For any of the following programs, if you need to request reasonable accommodations for a study abroad experience due to a documented disability, please contact the Director of International Initiatives and the Learning Center Director.
Exchange Programs
Tuition Exchange Programs are intended for one semester of study at a partner university abroad. These agreements allow Brenau students to pay home tuition while obtaining the experience of education abroad. The student is responsible for all costs beyond tuition at the attended university abroad. This includes room and board, books, any extra school fees, airfare and spending money.
Student Exchanges available:
- KU Leuven – Antwerp, Belgium
- Courses in business administration and languages
- Ewha Womans University – Seoul, South Korea
- Courses in Korean language and culture, art, education, business, and more
- Aalborg University – Aalborg, Denmark
- Courses in business administration and cultural studies
Most courses are taught in English through our exchanges. In some cases, financial aid that a student would normally use during the school year can sometimes be applied to an exchange program.
Faculty Led Programs
Frequently Brenau faculty led students abroad either through a course or on a study abroad program. One recurring program is the Cambridge Program led by Dr. Dobkins every other summer. The next available term for this program will be summer 2019. In some cases, students can use financial aid for these programs. The College of Health Sciences frequently includes a travel abroad component to their courses. For information on which course travel abroad, please speak with your academic advisor in the College of Health Sciences.
