Office of Accessibility Services
At Brenau, we know that an accessible and supported education environment benefits everyone, so we are committed to providing an inclusive learning space for all students. We understand that learning differences, neurodivergence and disability are important aspects of diversity, and aim to create an equitable space for students to learn.
The Office of Accessibility services provides individualized accommodations for students with documented disabilities, offering a quiet, reduced distraction environment for qualified students to take tests/exams. The Office of Accessibility services is your point of contact for any disability related information, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to us with questions.

Campus Housing Accommodations
Brenau will take the steps necessary to help properly accommodate your campus living space, if you qualify for a physical or psychological disability. Please fill out the housing accommodations form to get started. If your diagnosis or needs change, you’ll need to complete this form again as well as submit updated medical records.
Emotional Support Animals or Therapy Animals
Brenau doesn’t allow students to keep animals (except for fish) on campus; however, there is an exception for those with documented disabilities, who have been approved to keep their emotional support or therapy animal on campus. In order to see if you qualify to bring an emotional support or therapy animal to campus, you must first fill out the housing accommodations form and then fill out our ESA and Therapy Animals Request Form.
